We welcome well behaved pets at Barford House in the garden apartment only.
At Barford House, we ask guests not to leave their pets unattended in the garden apt whilst they go off for the day/evening. This is unfair to other guests staying as pets left alone in a strange environment do get distressed. Many bars and restaurants in Southport are pet friendly now. I can give recommendations of pooch friendly places to eat if needed. My regular guests know how much time and effort I put into making our gardens look beautiful.
We enter competitions and have won many awards over the years, for this reason the lawns back and front are out of bounds to pets. We ask our guests to take their pet out on the lead to do their business. Not all visitors staying in the garden apt have pets, therefore I ask that pets are not allowed on the furniture.
